Today I thought I would add a link to my WEBSHOTS album… a few pictures of my place.
I am getting the place ready for a renter from Palo Alto, Ca. She is here for a few days and on Monday, she is going horseback riding, and latter in the day, on a guided boat ride through the mangrove swamps. I think she will have a great time. Martin is her guide and he is always a lot of fun, but he hates to speak English, but understands it pretty well.
Some orchids are starting to bloom in the “jungle garden ” so I am posting a few pictures.
I I invite anyone who has stayed here at Casa De La Luz to add a post, I would like some feedback. thanks.
I think the next post will include more photos of Tlacotalpan.
This is a first for me,.so bare with this newby .
Having retired to Mexico about 10 years ago, I find this is a great way to stay connected to “the other side”, and be able to share some of my new life.
Casa De La Luz is the name of my home and guest house. With an apartment and 2 rooms for rent to mostly Americans and some Mexicans and Europeans.
Today it seems the rains have started, which means the temps have dropped to a very reasonable 75* The garden is loving it. The cats are sad to be indoors, and I am a happy camper, no more 95* temps….lets hope.
Rains are letting up, and I have errands to take care of……
